I know some of you are going to say oh well it's just the first game of the season give him a chance. But to tell you the truth Jake does not have it anymore. I just don't feel that Jake has are ever will fully recovery from the tommy John elbow surgry. I am sick seeing Jake misteaks on offense. If we going to turn the ball all over. We mind aswell let Josh are Matt moore start and see what they can do. Jake Delhomme has had his spot light. But Fox needs do to Jake like he did to Rodney Pete 8 years ago in the Jags game. We are now losing 24-7. Why keep jack in. allow Josh to come in and Give Carolina a chance. But overall Jake Delhomme just does not seem right since his elbow injury. You just get the feeling that his injury to the elbow is still affecting his throwing. I am calling for a new starting QB for week 2 to change things up. We have nothing to lose now.:mad5: Jake just plains suck now. And if you people think oh poor Jake give him a break. Then you are blind to the truth. Carolina needs a QB change and now!!!!!

Jake is done imo but Fox is still the biggest problem. Repeat of 07 is predicted......clearly the best QB to give Carolina a shot is Moore....Fox will wait too late to give him the job. Moore should have come in for Jake instead of McCown. All the biggest problems with the team come back to one man and his name is John Fox.

    • I love paying guys who prove themselves coming into their prime.  Also, it very easy to structure a 4 years deal with 15 guaranteed to be very team friendly and good for both sides.  It's pretty much 12-15th ranked RB money.  We also traded around in that round and got an extra 2nd rounder next year and still got Brooks, who I might add would have been an easy first round pick had it not been for the injury.  It's still all educated guesses but you've adding some cover you ass insurance with these moves in case of injury or just being wrong about a guys talent.  Longer seasons.  You had in all these factors together and this is exactly the kind of move very smart GM's make.  I forgot to add how much Canales uses RB's in his system in the run and pass games.    Chubba is currently tied with Legette for 2nd on the team in receptions.  He is one behind Sanders for 3rd in targets. Canales also loves efficiency and his 5 ypc are elite. And that isn't to say about the guy as a teammate and team leader.  That's worth money too. ESPECIALLY, when you are a bad team and you're a new coach trying to build a new culture. Hell, man could be the lynch pin to this team's chemistry.  Unless Dave and Dan make some extremely stupid move they deserve to build this team like they think is best.   Keep pounding.
    • I like the thinking but have to ask, you think he had those notarized in anticipation?  Okay kidding but if Tepper is as involved as people think he would know who Morgan liked.  Also, if Tepper would have been happy with everything Morgan had done in cahoots with Fitterer, well he already had it and fired it. So I think there has to be some divergence from Fitterer somewhere in the timeline, or he wouldn't be here.
    • ^and I mean the way we been playing. The way that we should be.
