Hornets @ Timberwolves 11/10

Got the win but nore genius rotations with Cliff, lol.  Lamb was combustible and i dont think he even played in the 4th...  also, tons of more hawes and little to no kaminsky.  At this point, wirh him as coach, why do we even draft anyone.  fug it, trade all our picks for old guys he will actually use...  what a waste.

Also, it'll be interesting to see how the perspective will shape itself surrounding Al going forward...  it appears more and more there is a reason he is a dinosaur compared to modern bigs.  He isnt athletic enough to stay on the floor defensively and now, with the personnel we've added, we tend to run a lot more and thus, negate his only strength.  There are games, like against the mavs, where his abilities can help us by tiving us different looks and allow us to slow the game down, but i think going forward his dwindling value is becoming more and more evident.

Hawes is dreadful, how can there be no other options?

Frank with only 3 minutes? You've got to be kidding me. Why even draft the guy? He is not Vonleh. His skill set can clearly help us right now.

I love Kemba, but he's been sloppy a little too much this year.

This team is obviously talented. I just fear ultimately Clifford is not the right coach to mold this talent far enough to get over the hump, and become a legitimate contender year in and out.

Maybe it's because we have a back to back with travel and play a much more important game against the Knicks tomorrow? But no, let's default to "Cliff doesn't know what he's doing."

Geez. Scored over 100, shot 49% from the floor, pulled away fairly easy in the 4th, and you'd think here we lost by 20.

This team is fine for not even ten games in.

I agree with your point on Al. With him needing a contract next year and losing PT here (finally,) I could see the Hornets dumping him on some non-contender at the deadline for a shooter like Kevin Martin and roll with Frank, Cody and Hawes in the frontcourt. Not ideal by any means but a lot better than overpaying Al next offseason. The deadline is some 50-60 games in so Frank should have his sea legs under him by then.

Also Karl Anthony Towns is awesome. Jealous of that Minnesota roster. They could be special.

Absolutely. Given the fact we have owned the 7th, 9th, 2nd, 4th, 9th, 24th, and 9th picks of the last 5 drafts, we could've built something similar. Hindsight is 20/20 I suppose...

If it gives you any hope, the TWolves draft history was absolutely brutal (probably worse than ours) before Flip Saunders became the GM. They seriously drafted 3 PGs over Steph Curry.
