If we are 10-0 and Falcons 6-5 going into Dallas, Should RR pull a Popovich?

For those who dont watch NBA, Popovich is the HC of the Spurs and is very well known for resting starters in certain situations during the season. One situation is late in the season when the team has to play a back to back (which is equal to a short week in the NFL playing on a Thursday) and the team has all but locked up a playoff berth, he catches a lot of flak and heat from other teams and the NBA for doing it but it works and its why the Spurs have the success they do.

Falcons have the Colts and Vikes up next so they could very easily be staring at 6-5 and us 10-0 heading into Dallas. As many have said on here, refs and Jerry Jones will have the fix in on that game anyway with Romo back, (remember last year with the Megatron catch) I say fug em, what better way to show disrespect to the Cowgirls then resting a lot of our starters that game, also would be a let down for Hardy because you know he is looking forward to that game.

You will think im crazy but with how Rivera has talked in recent weeks about "have to be smart when it comes to players down the stretch." I wouldnt put it past him.. Id say we would still probably win anyway and if not, 10-1 wont hurt us.. Now IF we arent 10-0 and Falcons arent 6-5 then ofcourse all bets are off.

No.

Home field advantage.

We would still be 2 games up in the NFC for homefield and I bet anything we would still beat Dallas with DA, short week and throw Dallas off having to prepare for a totally different QB, it would be so epic if Riverboat Ron did that and we still won, that would be some Bellicheck level mind fugging right there

1 game in the NBA is around 1% of your entire schedule and for a great teams means very little.

1 game in the NFL is 6.25% of your entire schedule and no coach in their right mind would rest his starters unless there is absolutely nothing to gain.

If we did that and lost home field advantage by a game, Ron Rivera would look like a moron.  So, of course he won't be doing this.

Do you think there is even a small chance, in any universe, that Ron Rivera wouldn't play a healthy Cam Newton on the Panthers first ever nationally televised Thanksgiving Day game that literally the entire country watches going against America's Team, especially if we were 10-0 going into it?

People crap on you for some of your threads and most of the time they are assholes and its uncalled for.

But this is such an asinine idea, it can't even be considered a rational thought. It's so other-worldly absurd that you have to either be just searching for attention, or you have to be actually retarded for even entertaining the idea, both being sad and unfortunate.

I will continue to issue warnings to people that belittle you for no reason, but this idea that Rivera wouldn't play Cam in this scenario to rest him for something else is so ludicrous, it might just put me over the top to start handing out the tar and feathers myself.

May god have mercy on your soul young man.

Some of you guys really overrate Derek Anderson. I like DA, but come on man!
