I'm pretty sure he was not referring to something he was scared of but something in the play that scared him off from going to the play to the WR that eventually became open in the corner of the end zone. A play earlier in the game led him to believe the play was not developing as expected and he looked for a new receiver. By then he was getting pressure in his face. Regardless I think y'all are interpreting scared in the wrong way.

Nah, he was scared of the 6'3, 315lb, stud DT that was barreling down on him.

If you read that article, he got pretty roughed up that game. Sounded like he was in pain!

even if he threw it and it was a TD, there was a blatant offensive pass interference pick-play that would have to be called.. but since it would have been against us, maybe not..

On the Starks TD there were 2 big holds right in front of the line judge. But I'm actually glad the refs willed the Packers into that game, so I don't have to keep hearing, "Yeah, but who have they beat?" If the score had been reflective of the way they actually played? Especially after nearly losing to the Chargers, and being blown out by the Broncos. This win would have been seriously devalued. So for once, I think the piss-poor refs actually helped us in the long run?
