Mike Dobs... the sign guy... oh my

Every time this asshole opens his mouth it just annoys me even more. Why does he think that people need to kiss his ass just because he was in the army? Does he think being in the army gives him a license to be a *****? Apparently so. At this point he is making all veterans look bad because of his antics. There are veterans out there who live in the street or in mental hospitals and he is going to try to pull the poor veteran card while paying for front row seats to an NFL game? fug this guy. You wouldn't hear a soldier who was in the trenches of WW2 or Vietnam bitching like this. You can just tell from their social media that this entire family has entitlement issues. To think you can come in to another teams home and decorate it is extremely arrogant or extremely ignorant.

The media should not be giving this guy a platform. He is obviously wanting attention. 95% of people think the Dobs family are assholes and this entire situation is funny. The NFL's YouTube page is even mocking it. It shows you their true intentions that the organization said they would make it up to Dobs and he's STILL going on the news and spouting his story like he's some sort of victim. The only thing the Panthers should do is MAYBE buy this dude another sign. They aren't even required to do that since the banner was illegal anyways. Cam has worked his ass off changing the culture of this team and fan base. I used to be embarrassed of the wine and cheese crowd but since Cam has came to town he has changed that. He has installed a winning attitude on the team and helped to ignite a hardcore fan base. BOA is LOUD every game now and there is a feeling of excitement about games that wasn't there before. We're seeing a culture grow right in front of us and that's why poo like the Green Bay sign can not happen anymore. This is the new Panthers, there are no more opposing team home games in our stadium. There is no more catering to away team fans. If you want to come to the stadium and be respectful that's fine, but don't expect to poo on our doorstep and not have any consequences.

My guess would be that within a couple of days, this story will be forgotten.

Mind you, the family will probably still be out whoring for attention, but everybody will have moved on.

I never thought anybody would come along that could make Grieg Frye look good by comparison, but this bunch does.

If the media looks into this guy a little bit instead of just hanging on his every word, there would be some backlash against him. One story about this guy's past and some of his comments would turn the public against him in a big way.

I'm pretty sure the public is already against him.

    • 38 seconds in tells me he is full of poo and is spinning for clicks. You know how they say in court, where if they lie once you can assume they are lying always?  To me Riddick is doing a pretty spiteful thing I think, by putting those words in someone's mouth. Unless he knows that is true. Which I doubt. An honest person would not have said that to Tepper, so he basically assaulting Canales. It is not Canales' fault that Young will not adhere to the the coaching he was obviously given. And of course I am referring to that Buffalo series and the very noticeable footwork change. Evidence that he had the opportunity to be a better player but reverted to his wonky ass 'techniques'. Because it is fuging hard not to. But that is still on Young for not getting that done. And unless he gets it done he is just a fraud. A wannabe NFL quarterback, playing at it. I mean NFL quarterbacks are kicking his ass, even the rookies.  If he works to change this steadily he may be able to get it ingrained in a couple more months. That is as optimistic as I can be for him.  Riddick though, I don't don't listen to sports talk any more except what youtube clips I like but I used to think pretty highly of him. This is pretty sad, to see this scapegoating.  I can put words into Canales mouth too: "Mr Tepper, I have a pretty good feel for working with these guys, and have had some luck with it. You know Baker pretty well. That's my work with him.  But I have to be honest, I'm not sure i can promise I can fix Bryce. He has many challenges. There are things we can do to help but so much of it is up to him. If he is willing to listen and work, I am sure we can make him a better QB. How good will be up to him."   blah blah blah blah
    • Can they play QB? And some stuff from Ride the Lightning, too?
    • When dementia gripped my grandmother (and eventually took her), we each spent time with her and would try to correct her to what was reality and what wasn't. It was very tough on my Dad who she lived with for as long as they could care for her.  It seemed like she had become detached from her own timeline and would slide up and down it wildly. As my Dad said, "somedays I'm me to her, somedays I'm my Dad, somedays I'm her father, somedays I'm just the guy who works here. I tried correcting her but it just upset her. I found out that the best thing is to just not correct her and let her live out where ever and whenever she is."  And I'm not going to lie, it gets tough and eventually they leave their own timeline and it becomes unmanageable. Hold on to yourself and the ones you love through it all. Prayers for you and yours, man.
