My two cents on the team

...for what it's worth:

In the past, this team has depended on lucky bounces, league favor, and similar intangibles to succeed.

This year, we are earning everything we get. We aren't getting the luck, and we certainly aren't getting any breaks from the refs/league. Yet this team keeps pounding and keeps winning. This team is overcoming adversity instead of miraculously avoiding it. 

This team has grit. They have character. They are tough. They have chemistry. Gonna be a special season everyone! And the great part about it is that it's only halfway through!

This year's team has Cam playing at a high level, and an o-line that can pass block as well as any team in the league. This is a passing league, so if you can put the ball in the air you'll probably have a good season. Even with a good passing attack teams are still selling out to stop the run. Stewart is taking a vicious pounding, but has yet to succumb to injury. Cam scrambles and runs better than any QB in the league, and that has saved us in a few games. Overall we're in a good position offensively. And boy have the Shula haters vanished now that Bell has departed and Chandler is nowhere to be seen on the field.

Defensively we're a little slow with Peanut and Harper, but they're wily vets who make due with what they have left in the tank. Unfortunately losing the psychopath Hardy really hurt our pass rush, and CJ's body is falling apart. Short plays well in spurts, but also has to take plays off due to the fact that he is mortal and everyone takes plays off. McD has made it clear now that when we're facing an elite QB he's going to safety and LB blitz. Coleman, TD, Luke, he's going to send whoever works. More good news is that he trusts our defense to switch from man to zone back and forth like crazy. McD is trying to leverage our defense's football IQ for an overall lack of talent at certain positions. Confuse the opposing QB and you don't need superstar DE's to sack his ass.

It was hard to stomach "experts" picking teams like the Jaguars to beat us, but they've changed their tune now. And for those who are still disrespecting our team by using "the worst ___" to describe out team, they're going to look more and more like fools.

We have an offense that can score in bunches, and do it via big play or methodically marching down the field.

We have an opportunistic defense with at least one exceptional player on each level of the D (KK, Luke and TD, Norman).

We are going to be a tough out for any team.

      Kraven has awful shitty comic book movie vibes all over it. It's just more of whatever studio owns the rights to the Spiderman set, but no longer actually has Spiderman anymore. Wicked is probably no more enjoyable. 3 hour long musicals are tough to endure.

      The Giants games are an interesting comparison for sure. We could compare the Chiefs vs the Bucs as well, since at least both teams are largely the same as they are now, rather than the Giants whose coach lost his mind after losing to us. 30-24 KC in overtime. Hunt had 106 yards and Mahomes had 291. Baker threw for 200 yards, but 2 TDs. Their leading rusher had 25 yards or something. Our offense outperformed what the Bucs did vs KC, but being a division game we won't have the benefit of being overlooked. If our D plays how it did in the 4th quarter I think we can get some stops.  Can Bryce carry a second game? I'd rather not find out and have Chuba carry the load, but we'll see.
