Saints could let Payton walk

If Sean Payton wanted to be a coaching free agent after this year, I'm told the #Saints would be inclined to let him out of his contract.

 

 

If it happens, rumors have linked him to the Dolphins and the Colts.

My choice?  I'd only take the Colts job if they replace Gregson. Otherwise I'm Miami bound.

I wonder if the would get rid of Brees as well, and reboot.  New Orleans might struggle for the next few years.

And I might need to rethink what I would do in this situation. Taking the Dolphins job means trying to take the division from the Patriots every year. Coaching the Colts means you're playing the AFC South.

I'd still want them to get rid of Grigson, though. That team is going nowhere with him in charge.
