Gameday Menu

Hey, @Dex, I finally solved the problem of the cheese sliding off my tomatoes. Here is what I will snack on during the game.  This is a combination of Roma tomatoes and small peppers, four with port wine cheese and four with The Laughing Cow cheese. This is a low calorie creation, especially with The Laughing Cow cheese wedges which I split in half. But even the other cheese with the peppers and tomatoes is only so fattening. I cut them in half and remove the core/seeds and spread the cheese inside. The port wine cheese is delicious enough, but I do add a little garlic and onion powder to the other, as well as a tad of powdered red pepper, black pepper, parsley and paprika.  I might also suggest the spreadable pub cheese, Cheese Wiz, or whatever you like. I created these as a light, low-fat alternative to more fattening appetizers. Truth be told, I've eaten them for dinner on occasion.

Very good question.

It's been warm here for the last few days, but it's starting to drop now.  Going to make some real Texas style chili with fresh ground beef, cut up steak, and veal.  Or possibly, boil a chicken pull it and make some homemade chicken pot pie, with homemade herb crust.

That's good stuff right there.  Mmmmmm!  I'm coming over.  Oh, you got beer?

Honestly, I really don't drink all that much. But when I do, in fitting with my low calorie leanings, I drink what many might consider a poor excuse for beer, Bud Select 55. I will provide a richer selection if I know that company is coming though. Cheers!
