Who else loves to hunt?

As I sit here in my deer stand in the rain, I was wondering how many people here on the huddle love to hunt?

I missed this thread somehow.

I hunt just about everything that runs ,struts hops or flies. I enjoy deer hunting , Turkey hunting dove hunting and rabbit hunting.

I breed ,raise , train ,field trial and hunt AKC beagles. So I stay involved year round with the dogs. I enter field trials all during the year and we hunt them nov. -feb. 

my family loves  them so mine are pets as well as hunting dogs.  Beagles are  great dogs

I've got a lease down in Georgia. Its got plenty of deer, turkey and hogs. Im not a brown and down hunter but im lucky enough to be able to be selective of what i kill. While hunting was my first passion, I think bass fishing is starting to overtake it.

Hunting is right up there with my passion for Panther football. I haven't had much time as of yet to get out in the woods, once in September and once in October.  After Friday I have the next 2 weeks off so hopefully I can fill a tag.

Where do you guys hunt?

Took my 11yo son on a deer hunt Saturday down east.  Didn't see any, but did see 5 turkeys (hens).  Saw a squirrel freak out that a red tail hawk was flying over, found a dead deer, some others saw two otters.  No one killed anything, but it was a great hunt. 

If you're ever in the Plymouth area, I HIGHLY suggest going to the CTO museum there and check out the animals stuffed there.  Insane and great stories to go along with them.  I could never afford any of those sorts of hunts.  As a kid I hunted deer a lot, but kinda of grew out of it but my son has shown an interest in it so I'm trying to teach the proper way of harvesting deer and appreciate nature.

I'll rabbit hunt anywhere I can get permission.(and there's rabbits)

 I got a couple small tracts to turkey hunt in North Carolina.

I'm in Ontario Canada.  (I grew up in Caswell County NC)  Since moving up here I've been able to hunt deer, duck, bear, and moose.  Moose by far has been the most insane.  Nothing I mean NOTHING prepares you for the first Moose you see.

 

I really enjoy all types of hunting.  My dad taught me what I needed to know when I lived in Carolina.
