Movie is doomed to fail. Its such an old story that most people dont get it/know it/care, and the old school folk that do care will crap on it so much because of this or that. No matter what, people will say bad poo about it.

Kind of similar and opposite like our Panthers team! The people (those fuggin writers that have been pooing on us for years) dont care because they just dont know ( read, dont care enough about us to research our team)..and those that do know and follow the team crap on Shula, or lament about KB, or constantly scan the newswires and suggest this or that FA, or start thread about whether so and so should be replaced/traded/benched or just poo'ed on.

 

The only difference is....our team will Keep Pounding! This movie will blow its wad in the first weekend and be written about for weeks and months about how and why it failed.

wow there are some debbie downers on here!!!

Ladies and Gentlemen, I get to introduce NEW Star Wars material, SIX movies, to my own kids for the first time and share the joy and excitement along with them. New toys? Take my money. New movies? Take my money. Star Wars Disney Theme Park? TAKE MY MONEY. 

Some of you guys could suck the joy out of anything. Go back to bitching about more Greg Hardy threads and leave us Star Wars fanboys/girls alone.

On a positive note, I'll be doing the Grandmother-baby-waiting thing. Once he grows up, I'll be able to tell him about how his due date was the release date for Star Wars The Force Awakens so there was much rejoicing & celebrating & standing in line just for him.

getting ready to start watching all the other movies with my 8 year old in the next week. going to watch it in this order...4,5,1, 2, 3, 6.

my whole family is going to be going to watch the new one over the holidays when my brother and his wife are in town. absolutely cannot wait for this. i don't care what anyone says about any of them. i love it all and am as excited about the new one as i was for each of the original 3. i won't be watching with any critical lenses at all. this is just an indulgement in fun the way the rest of them were.

anyone looking at these movies with a critic's eye is missing out on something wonderful. just enjoy it.
