For a little perspective on Cams effect for our offense

And how sorry our running game has been most this year.

With Cams yards, we are second in the league in rushing.

Without Cams yards we fall to 22 in the league in rushing

Stewart is not having a pro bowl year rushing he is roughly 14th in the league in rushing even though he is 7th in the league in overall attempts

We average the most rush at 33 in the league, but Cam takes 9 of those.

So not only is he the sole reason why our passing game does anything (cause the receivers are hardly helping) but it's mostly Cam's doing that our running game isn't completely mediocre at best.

Our line also had a slow start to the season. I'm curious what the PFF reports would say about the run blocking of Remmers and Oher, because I know our guards rank quite high.

I know stewy has had two good tough games, but when we talk about "is Cam an MVP candidate?" Let's appreciate how little of nothing he has around him.

Anybody watching would realize Stew is playing at a Pro Bowl level even if the stats don't suggest it. And the o-line has been great. Obviously Cam is our MVP on offense but don't discredit other players to bring Cam up.

This coming from the guy who thinks we will go 19-0 if we beat the packers.

If he was playing at a pro bowl level, his stats would sure indicate a lot more than they do. Seattle and Philly, he played at a pro bowl level outside of that, not so much. You haven't provided any convincing points to validate your statemetn

I already know all this stuff. Every thread is trying to convince me that were awesome in some way. I know this.

Would you prefer topics discussing how garbage we are?

You can't have a running back only running for 4.0 ypc and say he's having a Pro Bowl season if you're going to also say the line has been great. Because if the line has been consistently great, any Pro Bowl back should be able to get at least 4.5 ypc. The reality is he's gotten a lot of tough yards behind a line that occasionally struggles on run blocking. He hasn't been playing at a Pro Bowl level.

A fan in fan mode wanting to believe that we'll go undefeated... Hang the man.

The line has been great compared to last season, and particularly in pass blocking. Which benefits Cam and not Stew. Further backing up my point.

I would not say the line was great. They pass block well but do not punch holes in the run game very much.  I hope we keep drafting guys cause we need improvement.

I'm not sure what the OP wants.  We all know that Cam has been the MAN this year.  He runs the ball well, and has made a poor group of receives look absolutely average!

Talking about Stewart and the Oline, and why we aren't averaging 6 ypc or whatever crazy figure is deemed a successful running game.  EVERYONE knows we're going to run the ball.  That's Shula ball.  We're going to keep running, even if it's just for a couple yards at a time.  We are running against 8-9 man fronts all day long because no one is really scared of our passing game aside from Greg Olsen.  The jury is out on Ginn, he will drop balls.  Sure he might catch a few, but he's going to drop a good number of passes.

Stewart has been running super hard. it's not flashy, but he is having a very good year.  He's getting those tough yards, breaking tackles and wearing down defenses.  We're not a flashy running team, we are a persistent running team.
