The Panthers have been so up and down (mostly down) through the years it's no surprise there's so much skepticism that they're the real deal. People keep expecting a collapse. And even if it turns out to be a SB year, with even a SB win, they'll be waiting for a return to mediocrity next season. It'll be up to Gettleman and company to keep making the right moves and prove the Panthers can put out a solid team pretty much every year. I don't discount the job Rivera and his staff have done either.
