Lol. No hatred for the radio station that broadcast this atrocity?

Businesses are in business to make money. That's how it works. I have ads for Carolina Sports Medicine, Carolina Ale House, Tylenol, and NFL Sunday Ticket loading as I wait to post this. I ain't hatin'. That's how it works.

And that's cool, to each their own. I choose where I spend my money and if you are actively promoting a bar to an opposition fan base then I will spend elsewhere. Merica.

I can't get on board with trying to hurt a business over a sports team. Like other larger cities Charlotte us going to have such bars.

They have every right, certainly. But if you advertise about it and I hear it, I'm not patronizing uour business.

That's fair but others in here were talking about running them out of business and that lacks a lot of perspective. Not that there is much chance at all of that possibility.

It's sad you can't even find a Panthers bar in Charlotte .. it's not like there are Panthers bars in cities all over the country like there are for the Packers and Steelers SO ... due to that reason, make other teams bars off limits in the one spot there should be many panthers bars cause there are very few around the country.

Charlotte should say no to promoting other teams as other cities don't promote the panthers like they do other teams. Is not like GB has a Panthers bar in GB so it's all good.

I would bet if you went to Pittsburgh and tried to get a radio station to promote a Panther Bar the first thing you would hear is a freaking click and dial tone.

The only way we build a diehard fan base is by making those that choose other teams to at minimum go into the closet.

What if you couldn't get into a game (not this one) and you walk into this bar and the Packers are playing for example the Vikings.  Wouldn't you feel just a bit pissed off that your hometown team isn't being shown because they are showing the Packer game.   I would NEVER go to that establishment again.  EVER.   It is wrong and the only way to get rid of it is to show loyalty to the Panthers and not go there. EVER.  YEAR AROUND EVER.

    • I don't know--they represent the entire body of players and this be determined, if it got to that point, by a vote of all veterans and rookies who are part of the union.  If the elite players are getting 50% of all cap increases, the non-elite players with shorter careers might want a bigger slice of the pie and vote accordingly.  To say that the Union would not go for it is not something I agree with--it would be the union that proposes it--based on a proposal and a majority vote.  If the veteran players vote for an equal distribution framework, then all 53 on a roster benefit from a cap increase that is applicable to the entire team.  Not sure how labor laws might be impacted...
    • Carter, Graham, or Walker and I might roll the dice hoping Walker is around later.  If Hunter is there at 8, we are about to get a really nice haul for trading back.
    • Oh well. That's his fault if he wants to eat up all the cap space and have no protection as a result. A big part of why Brady has all those rings is that he generally took team friendly deals. Not that he wasn't making a mega ass ton of money, but he wasn't leaving his team cap strapped due to his contract while Peyton Manning generally tried to negotiate for every dime he could get forcing the Colts to make tough decisions.
