Cam has played great imo. The only argument anyone could have is the last two games. First, two of the interceptions in the Eagles game wasn't really his fault. Second, this last game with that rain, no quarterback would have put up good stats. Cam is doing great giving the circumstances and what he has had to work with.

You can thank the Panther receivers, and the Tampa Bay, Charlotte weather last week for that.

Cam's numbers would be something like 16 TD's and 4 INT's if his receivers could actually hold on to the ball and cross the 1 yd line.

That's what many don't see, or know. And it's a shame for Cam for those that don't.

McNair won the MVP with like 24 td/7 ints in 2003, and missed two games.  Good ratio but not what you'd expect.   It was his intangibles that pushed him there I believe.   If you take away the drops and tips to INTs from his receivers, Cam's numbers would probably be in line with McNairs and with more rushing stats.

Honestly?! I agree with them. Cam is more of a opportunistic QB that does an excellent job of taking advantage of the perfect opportunities the defense gives him, he's good no disputing that but he ain't no MVP and that's a fact

Terrell Davis was a wildly over rated RB who was the beneficiary of the Broncos OL and scheme....the plugged in anybody at RB during that time and they were 1k rushers.

He never did any close before or after his 2000 yd season.

Agreed.

I just love pointing out how these "so called experts" are nothing but washed up athletes still trying to make a living....because most of them do not have any other marketable skills.

You know what!?...They can actually say what they want. Don't care.

What bugs everyone though, is when they take strong stands (usually against the Panthers or Newton), and you can tell they don't watch Panther games, or could even name someone on the team other than Cam, Luke, Rivera, Shula, Gettleman, and now Thomas Davis.

At the start of the season, most of these "experts"/"former player" commentator types could only 3-4 people on the Panther team.
