More ESPN trade advice

NFL Live just had a segment at the end where they discussed possible receiver moves to the Panthers. Alshon obviously came up, and even an obligatory "would have liked to see Steve Smith go back, but he's hurt". Then one I haven't heard yet: Golden Tate.

Do not want, but it's interesting how all of a sudden it seems the media WANTS us to go get a big name WR to compliment Olsen for the season. Guess when you're one of four undefeated teams, at a point where people expected us to be 4-3 at best, the league wants you to go out and get a big name so they can sell you a little easier.

Deadline over. Didn't do poo. Lock up the trade threads and lets focus on this undefeated roster we have.

Yeah while I wouldn't have cried if we happened to land a big name WR, the teams in the Super Bowl didn't have big name WR's. Clearly winning without a Pro Bowl talent at WR can be done.  I can't help but wonder the impact KB would've had on this team, but  you can only move forward, especially when we're having our current success.

I still think Funchess has late season potential.  He still keeps popping up in the 2nd half of these games the last few weeks w/ grabs.

Pretty soon we gonna be running flea flicker bombs to him w/ Brandon Lafell watching from home, tweeting out "Ah yeah mayne!" as he watches.

I'd love for him to get with Muhsin for an off-season as well as Ricky.

Funchess had to learn to just get NASTY and hold on to the damn ball. he's watching Greg Olsen out there manhandle every throw and hold onto it like it owes him money.

Ive seen him improve - more than he would have if we had KB here.

Guess who's not dropping Balls - BROWN Guess who won't be dropping balls in the future - Funchess.

As the season wears on - you will see War Truly break out and these boys tighten up in more ways than we can imagine.

You have guys like Norwood out there who will be brought into the lineup.

This will be absolutely Beautiful

Remember ... Norwood is on this team from Seattle and Funchess are out there - Building confidence and we have running backs off the wazoo.

Still trying to wrap my brain around "off the wazoo"

I'm sorry but I have pretty much lost faith in Funchess, I don't expect him to light it up and be a OROY candidate but I also don't expect him to be non existent like he has been and at least showing flashes.. He's just a JAG at this point and he doesn't seem to be trending up at all

Oh PU. *sigh* do you know how long Josh Norman was "JAG" ...? He was JAG for quite a few years. Now he is the best DB in football. Funchess has plenty of time to grow. People need to chill.

lol People always tend to forget about the struggle before the national fame.  I remember a time when Greg Hardy was "Lil Pep" and people probably wanted him cut, and the next thing you know he was a BEAST. The same basically goes for Charles Johnson.
