The extra point that wasn't that may have won the game

So, if Gano had not missed the extra point earlier, obviously the Panthers would have been up by 4 on Indy's last drive in regulation.  They would have had to go for the TD. The way they were making plays on that drive, I think there is a good chance they would have won.  Instead, they could go for the tie, and we know the rest of the story.

Perhaps, the best extra point miss in Panther history.

LP, I think the one a couple weeks ago was more significant if u ask me.

My can't specifically remember the game but u do remember making a thread about it. Instead of our offense ground and pounding the conservative way, we were aggressive and it win us the game.

I like where your head's at though

Last play before they kicked the tying FG in regulation was Luke's ohitwassoooooclose almost INT in the endzone with 2 seconds left in the game. I'd have loved for the extra point to have been good to see one more play, Colts at our 6 yard line, down by 4, with 2 seconds on the clock. Would have saved me the extra heart attacks in overtime

If the extra point was good at the time, the Panthers would've possessed an 18 point lead. Meaning on the Colts second touchdown, they would've tried for a 2-point conversion to make it a 3-point game. It couldn't have been a four-point margin in this scenario.

He may be a troll but he's right. They would have gone for two when the score would have been 24-19.

Don't care how probable the scenario is of us being up by 4. That's the premise LP put out there. And I'd like to see another goal-line stand in that situation to put a dagger in the Colts heart.

I love LP but the Colts were going for the win anyway...they did not play for a tie....Gruden even overstated this fact.

The FG was only 24 yarder? so it would have been 4th  and goal with 2 seconds left....we held them legit they were going for the endzone.
