Panther's statement game against Pack

We will find out how good the Panthers are this week against a very good Packers team. Some "experts " bring up the fact that we have played a group of qb's with a combined QBR that is horrible, that we have played teams with a combined record that is terrible...

We can finally silence the critics this Sunday by beating Rodgers and Co, there will be no " oh but look at who they beat.

I agree this game is huge. The Packers offense has been troubled lately but I know we can find success against "discount double check" if the d-line gets pressure and the db's stay disciplined.

Maybe what he's saying is that it's an individual Panthers player's statement game against the Pack, and that the statement game actually is a possession of said Panther?

I agree! This will be a huge statement game for the Packers to prove they are real contenders by beating the 7-0 Panthers.. Should be a good measuring stick for the Pack to see if they can actually beat a good team or not

Every game from here on out will be a statement game.

The old ticker made it through last nights game. It was rough at times.

I just hope this Sunday's game is not as close.

With GB coming off a lost and us having a tough OT game and the weather, this game is going to be pretty interesting!

It seems to me winning in Seattle did a lot to increase the respect for the Panthers.  Obviously Seattle has not had a good season so far, but everyone knows how tough it is to go there and do what we did - IN THE WAY THAT WE DID IT.  4 80 yard TD drives.  That pretty much got people paying attention.

Winning aganst GB?!  I'm not sure I will know how to handle the change in narrative about the Panthers that could follow.  Being the best team in the NFC is totally new territory in my few years as a Panthers fan!
