Does anyone have a gif of the Griff Whalen 4th down "catch"?

Now keep in mind the ball is allowed to hit the ground as long as the receiver has full control of it and the ground can't help you make the catch.

That being said it looked like the ball moved as soon as it hit the ground indicating that it helped the receiver make the catch therefore it should have been reversed and found incomplete.

Ya know, this isn't even so much a case of "I don't even know what's a catch anymore".  This isn't a Calvin Johnson rule.  What happened last night WAS NEVER A CATCH.  He didn't catch the ball but not control it to the ground.  There's no grey area or misinterpretation possible.  He trapped it against the ground.  At no point in NFL history would that have counted as a catch.  Truly ridiculous.

I went to the game and didn't record it so I didn't get to watch it. What was the broadcasters' opinion of it, while it was under review? They usually will say their opinions of the call while it is being reviewed. Sometimes they even talk to an NFL Official and get his opinion. Did they do this on TV last night and what did they say?

Yea, when they were discussing it, they were leaning to no-catch (you know they rarely give definitive opinions).  The ref they had give an opinion on was pretty confident no-catch.
