Olsen ran straight ahead five yards and slightly bumped into the middle linebacker  who was no where close to any other Panther on the field. Despite Grudens comments...the defender was not covering Ginn.

That was an illegal pick.  I don't want it to be, but it was.

That guy is an idiot. The Colts have 114 total yards. Our defense is shutting them down, especially on 3rd down

our run D has been suspect to getting gashed on occasion, which is pretty inexcusable against Gore and Bradshaw, but for the most part they have done a good job. Really hate that Harper is starting.

Can anyone explain that call against Olsen that couldn't hear it?

Basically, it was considered a pick play by Olsen. Kinda bogus since the defender ran right into him, and didn't bother to deviate, but eh.. what can you do? We should be used to it by now.

I still think we got this. Come out in the second half swinging and ready to run the football down their throats. Need Silatubby and Fiasco to step up and at least act like half the men they are replacing.

You should throw the ball when box is stacked in the rain and u have speed on outside. With C and G out you really want to run up the middle with a slippy ball just so people can bitch about that like every week

Yep. LG and C out. Bomb plays make perfect sense.

This is just destined to be an ugly, ugly, ugly game...  kalil out, norwell out, can't get the run game going, reciving unit already sucked and among the worst in the nfl, and it's in the middle of a fuging monsoon.  Lets just take turns running the fuging clock out.  What a fuging disgusting looking game and im tired of our team doing their best to make cam look like poo in primetime games.

And for as big of a BCJS (huddle old heads get it lol) i am, Cam has to own his misthrows just as well...  but that still reverts back to the lack of legitimate options around him and therefore the ridiculously slim margin of error he has as a result.  fuging pisses me off.

    • Okay so I am reading something in The Athletic and it says that Jones had to pass through waivers. So I don't know. I looked this stuff up when we were number one there all offseason and I thought it said 4 years in the league got you vested, as they call it.  Vested gets you out of waivers as I understood it. I probably got something wrong, but when I think about the slack quality of journalism these days I wonder about that. So I went and looked, again. Well, well.  For everyone: "When a player has accrued at least four seasons in the NFL, they are considered a vested veteran. When these vested veterans get cut, they are released and their contract is terminated. When a vested veteran is released, they are an unrestricted free agent that can sign with any NFL team, and the team that released them doesn’t need to provide any additional compensation." It runs it all down here, where the quotes came from: https://www.profootballnetwork.com/waived-vs-released-nfl/ As far as Jones, the team turned down his 5th year option so I knew that meant he had 4 years in, because they re-signed him anyway, after turning down the much cheaper extra year.  The Athletic is owned by the New York Times so I shouldn't be surprised. That paper was an institution once upon a time but they let their standards go.
    • Well, we got our answer on Army today.
    • Not a chance the SEC could compete with the NFL.  In the large cities that are not in the Southeast, (LA, NYC, Chicago, SF) College football is an afterthought.
