I don't think the Panthers are going to be interested in trading any one right now.

But The Golden Calf of Bristol has some Jets experience and I hear he's available.

HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA

Here's a question.

Te-bow...or Mallett?

Yeah, DA is worth more to us than we could probably get for him in a trade.  He's one of the best backup QBs in the league.  I wouldn't want to trade him for anything less than a 3rd round pick or a starting caliber WR.  I can't see any team giving us that.

Yep, this. I think we could win a couple of games with DA, and maybe not with Mean Joe. He is worth more alive..err on our team, than whatever crap pick we'd get.

Looks like the Jets are going after Glennon or Josh Johnson. Glennon would be their best bet if they aren't going to let the rook Bryce Petty play...... nor should they play Petty.

As for DA, no way I trade him unless it's an early pick, because the Jets aren't about to trade Marshall for Anderson. Eric Decker would be an interesting WR2 addition for the immediate future with KB in '16 and beyond, though I think the former got a pretty hefty contract 2 years ago.

This isn't Madden either...considering it's Week 8 they're probably better off signing someone up from their Practice Squad (if they have QB) or signing someone that's played in Chan Gailey's offense then they are trading for a backup QB that has no experience with their playbook.

At 4-3 this season is likely bust anyway, it'll take a few weeks to get any offensive groove back, why waste picks on a lost cause?

DA can win us a playoff game, depending on the other team.  Far too important to ship him away.

Now...if we were 2-4, and not in the AFC South, yes I would consider trading him for draft picks or a player.  That said, player for player trades are awfully scarce in the NFL.
