How many season ending injuries have happened this year in the NFL and how does it compare to prior seasons?

They need to do something about the concrete to prevent more injuries

The good news is, Lockette has full movement in all of his extremeties. The bad news is, his season is over.

Seattle released a statement on Monday updating Lockette's status:

Seahawks wide receiver Ricardo Lockette will undergo surgery this afternoon at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas to stabilize ligament damage in his neck that he sustained during a collision in Sunday's 13-12 win over the Cowboys. 

Lockette has full motion and feeling in all extremities and the team has announced that his prognosis is good. An update on Lockette's status will be provided following surgery later this afternoon.

Tough for Lockette to have to undergo such surgery so far from home & family.   Prayers for him and his loved ones. 

Yesterday was brutal.  So many season-ending injuries to so many star players.
