From Colts MB: Luck vs. Newton

Wow I havent seen many fan bases who are so completely fueled by media driven narratives.

They are actually convinced of all that espn driven nonsense about Cam and they actually believe Luck is one of the league's great QBs lol.

Also lol at the guy saying their team is as talented as ours.

I've said it before, their fan bas is terrible. Like I've said I live close to Indy, so at work in surrounded by colt fans, all my friends are colt fans, and I have to listen to their brain washed bs. They think their team is the best every year but can't tell me who plays on the O line. One guys said Grigson was the best gm in the nfl two years ago, now he wants him fired. I dispose the colts almost as much as I do the saints and that's bad.

Every day day I have to listen to how much better luck is than cam. For the past four years all they say is...Lucks better. Crazy, and yes all they do is puke ESPN crap about Cam they have no idea what they are talking about. Every week a guy at work says Indy will win by 40. I'm not making this up. It's sad and disgusting at the same time. I have been looking forward to this game since Luck got drafted I can't wait until Monday.

I want to win by 30+

yea thats one i noticed. Yea last years anomaly means its been bad for YEARS.

we have drew brees and matt ryan in this division. we poo all over them because we hate them but one won a superbowl and the other was pretty damn close to make it to the Show. Say what you want and i hate those fuging teams. But there are three top 10 QBs in our division. Last year WAS simply an anomaly.

Those fans are retarded. I get being biased about your QB. And Luck definitely plays on a shitty team. But that strawman guy layed down some pretty good stuff and he gets replies like the one you quoted here. No reading comprehension. And not even worth the time to converse with them.

Thanks Rum. Went over there hoping for a decent conversation, but it's like talking to Saints fans. I really don't think Pep is their problem, and their Oline wasn't ever dominant, so to me that falls squarely on Luck. Is he a bad QB? No. But this season he's obviously regressed while Cam has taken another step forward. Same thing we're seeing with Kap in my opinion. Cam had his struggle, as rose above it, now those two are facing the same challenge.

"Better roster"

There's not a starter on their defense I'd want for our second stringers.

This is one of the more ridiculous statements I've ever seen on here and that's saying something and it is just as ignorant as the statement you are mocking.

Vontae Davis is a top 5-10 CB in the NFL.

Mike Adams would start at safety.

Henry Anderson would absolutely be in our DT rotation.

Robert Mathis would start over Ealy.

Good overall points.

However, Kaep was never good, and was only covered by Harbaugh, the defense, run game, and OL during their peak years. He couldn't throw from the pocket, if they cemented defenders feet into the ground.

Luck, is at least better than that (though he has his challenges).

Granted Kap is not as talented as Cam or Luck, but he was expected to take that next step in his development, and didn't. So he's facing adversity since his supporting cast is not what it was, same thing with Wilson. Isn't that the same reason Dalton is excelling this year? The cast around him has gotten better, so he looks better.  Out of the "young guns" Cam is able to do more, with less, and that's why I feel he is the best of the bunch.

And even really the Panthers aren't better than us, just playing better. Our roster is far better than their's is, but we're a dumpster fire

That's the same fanbase that has argued for 15+ years that Peyton is far better than Brady. Despite the fact that Brady annually poo on Peyton head to head in the playoffs and has won 4 of 6 SB's to Peyton's 1 of 2.

Here's to watching them sing the same song the next 15+ years with Luck and Cam.

Peyton is better than Brady.

I also think, Dalton and the offense have now grown into the role with Hue Jackson, and we're seeing the results of it.

They have gelled nicely. But, Dalton has the best offensive supporting cast in the NFL, without a doubt. What other team has a excellent offensive line (anchored by a top 3 LT and a top 10 pick playing at RT), a superstar top 3 WR, solid #2 and #3 options, a playmaking 1st round pick TE, and 2 good RBs (both 2nd round picks).
