The tables have turned in the Cam vs Luck debate

The tables have turned but does it really mean anything? Cam is healthy and the oline is playing well. Last year it was the opposite.

Luck is injured and the offensive line is not playing well, last year was the opposite. I think they are both great QBs. I don't really care if people think Luck is better than Cam, I just want us to make the playoffs so we can prove these things on the field. Losing in Seattle sucked last year but it was also an opportunity to show what type of players we have. Why type of team we were. We showed well but not well enough. The NFL is about competition for me, not analysis.

I'm looking forward to the Green Bay game. We actually get to see how we stack up with them instead of talk about it. Just like the Patriots in 2013.

Along came Cam.  Then along came RG3 and Kaepernick and Luck and Wilson and Tanneyhill (sp?) and whoever.  Each year another QB sits down and is seriously questioned while our boy just KEEPS on POUNDING.

Cam was down to Alabama 24-0 and never blinked.  They won.  They won them all.  Cam is the OG.

Cam is a winner.  He is on a mission to do this same shlt again in 2015.

Throwing out stats without analyzing the situation is just not good form. YES Cam only has two TD's and 5 ints since the bye. He does also have two rushing TDs....

But lets start with the negative. 5 ints. Cam has thrown 2 ints that were on him. And both of them were better plays by the defense than they were a poor decision by the QB. The other 3 ints were not exactly on him. He made the right read in Seattle that would have been a TD to Ginn but his arm got hit. He didn't hold on to the ball too long, it was a deep route and a hell of a play by the DE.

Against Philly we all know damn good and well Ginn was down... but its crazy that a 19 yard throw and FUMBLE goes down as an int...

Yes he may have rocketed in too hard but Funchess is an NFL WR an should have caught that ball on the run for the TD instead alligator arms int.

But more importantly if you want to focus on Stats.... 2 TDs. BUT Stew's two 1 yard TDs could have easily been 2 Olsen TDs (So Cam is at 4 TDs) And Tolbert's 1 yard score could have been a Philly TD. (Putting Cam at 5 TDs)

So Cam could easily have 5 TDs through the air with 2 more Rushing TDs to boot and subtract 2 ints that were not on him and you're looking at 7 total TDs vs 3 Ints since the bye...

That's not what happened. But those "could have been TDs" were 1 yard runs that still put 6 on the board...

So to answer the question. No, I am not worried about Cam.

Wow at this utter destruction of that post's moronic assumption and inferences.

There are quite a bit of "panther's fans" that sit around hoping for Newton to make "mistakes" so they can start bitching. They are even thrill when Olsen goes down at the 1 yard line so they can pretend that that Newton had nothing to do with moving the offense down there. And finally they pretend that Newton has no effect on our rushing game including rushing tds.

But remember these are "Panther's fans..."

Agreed. It's strange seeing these people who claim to be Panthers fans hoping that Cam makes a mistake or blame him for something that wasn't his fault.

They think every throw he makes has to be perfect as if other quarterbacks throw perfect passes every time. SMH.

Some of these people in this fan base are crazy as hell. It blows my mind.

The quality of Indy's O-lines are not all that different as the Football Outsiders link suggests, so I don't see why people are trying to put Luck's ills on the O-line. Sure it doesn't help, but as Pagano basically stated earlier in the season, the O-line is nothing Luck has not dealt with his entire career. Moreover, neither O-line is bad in pass protection, they are middle of the pack, only separated by one team.

Luck was anointed the next great QB superstar even before he played his first game. Luck couldn't do no wrong, the expert ignored his mistakes early on and never called him out for being a turnover machine. Nobody has turn the ball over more than Luck since the beginning of last season. I think now, the media finally calling Luck out on his turnovers but still make excuses for him.

If Cam is playing like Luck is playing right now, the media will want the RG3 treatment for Cam.
