Superbowl Run?

Ahh.. Honestly I think we would have played Arizona, but for some reason the NFL loves to match us against Seattle.

they don't match us intentionally as it is all part of the rotation and how you finish in your division

I swear I can close my eyes , when I think of that moment sometimes, and the entire history of our team flashes through my mind. The sports writers saying the only franchise Charlotte would get was a McDonald's, The Richardsons/Mike McCormack's presentation to the expansion committee in NYC, the team being awarded in Oct '93, Clemson '95.All culminating in our Superbowl run with Vinatieri kicking that FG.

    • I saw the same thing lol, couldn't believe my eyes. Apparently they were so hurt at safety they signed him to practice squad in November and he immediately slotted in for 7 starts. All at safety.    Pretty sure the tiny dude was Sanchez and was one of the victims along with Benwikere to Julio's infamous 300 yard game. I think he only caught passes against those 2 guys all game, with most being against Bene. Barely played after that, rightfully so.
    • Of course, I agree. Gamble did it way longer here. If Bradberry played at that level here for as long as Gamble it'd be closer. Bradberry actually has had a pretty under the radar career post-Carolina too. Many will remember the game-ending hold in the Super Bowl but the dude did have a pro bowl season and another 2nd team all pro season after leaving. Gamble (outrageously) never even made a pro bowl.
    • Joe Person @josephperson · 2h Andy Dalton with a nice across his body throw on a scramble play to Hunter Renfrow, who got behind the secondary. Mike Kaye @mike_e_kaye · 2h Third-string OT Brandon Walton and OLB Thomas Incoom both got physical after a Dalton toss to Etienne for a TD in 11 on 11. Incoom made contact with Walton’s facemask. Chippy #Panthers minicamp.   Mike Kaye @mike_e_kaye · 2h Princely Umanmielen with a “sack” on Jack Plummer. He’s having a nice minicamp. #Panthers   Mike Kaye @mike_e_kaye · 2h Ethan Garbers, after a fumbled snap and a sack, hurls a nice ball to Dan Chisena for a 20 yard gain. He then gets tripped on a roll out. This third-string unit isn’t having the most fun week.    Joe Person @josephperson · 2h Derrick Brown said the goal is to be ready for the start of training camp. “I hope so.”   Mike Kaye @mike_e_kaye · 2h Derrick Brown (knee) hopes to be back in drills by training camp with “load management.” #Panthers   Mike Kaye @mike_e_kaye · 2h Instead of a JUGS machine, Chuba Hubbard is getting thrown to by Jack Plummer while he runs routes after practice. Nice to change things up. #Panthers   Alex Zietlow @alexzietlow05 · 1h #Panthers head coach Dave Canales said a version of this during rookie minicamp, and then was equally effusive today: This rookie class is “one of the best groups I’ve been around.” He explains what has impressed him after minicamp concluded.   Joe Person @josephperson · 1h That’s a wrap on minicamp. Panthers appeared to avoid any serious injuries. Defense had the upper hand today after offense had a big day Wednesday. See everybody in late July.   Alex Zietlow @alexzietlow05 · 1h #Panthers rookie running back Trevor Etienne was asked what he’s learned up until this point in the offseason program. His first response, with a smile: “I learned I didn’t know as much about football as I thought I did.”   just read there were multiple scuffles today
