Dude...go actually watch the play.  The throw was way high and right.  Was is "possible" for Funchess to come down with it?  Possibly.  But, the throw was a terrible pass plain and simple.

So you're saying youre smarter than ron rivera is that it madhatter?! Youre saying youre smarter than someone in an NFL locker room is that it madhatter?! Why arent you in an NFL locker room then huh?

He's forgotten more about football then youll ever know madhatter but i guess you think youre smarter than an employee of an NFL locker room

No...I am just saying that I am smarter than you.

I am not a Funchess fan...I did not like him at Michigan and I do not like him now.  He was dropped a lot of passes this season.  However, that was a bad pass.  An elite WR could possibly make that catch...but to expect it from a rookie who has not shown great hands is a stretch.  Bottom line is that it WAS not a good pass.

I love whats happening with Funchess... he was supposed to come here and sit down and learn ... bla bla bla bla... Sry buddy you're coming here to Produce. :)

Love this team. Hell be fine.

uhhh where did you get the idea funchess was supposed to "come here and sit down and learn" from?

gettleman has explicitly said that 1st and 2nd rounders are supposed to contribute immediately. funchess is a 2nd rounder that we TRADED UP FOR.

yes he is a rookie, but if you aren't worried about funchess then you're a blind homer.

I mean let's not get caught on the if aspect of it, because Cam hit Devin in stride against Seattle with Richard Sherman on him and he dropped it, Thomas almost picked it off.

Every pass isn't going to be perfect.

Exactly. Not a single QB in the league throws a perfect ball every time. Most of those LaFell drops were on poorly thrown balls by Brady but do they talk about that? Nope just that Donald is trash. If it's a catchable ball, the receiver's gotta catch it. Period.

That's all I'm saying. If we can blame Funch for not catching it, then we can put some on Cam for not delivering a better ball. One is a rookie and the other is the 100 million dollar 5 year vet. I expect Cam to make it easier for the rookie not vice versa.

You noticed the delayed rush coming straight up in Cam's face during the throw?

Right?

You think the elite QBs like Brady and Rodgers make perfect throws EVERY TIME with the rush coming straight up in their face?

Could have been a better throw, but Funchess is a professional football player and it hit him in the hand so he should have caught it.

He redeemed himself with that 20 yard reception later in the game, he'll get more consistent as time goes on.

Cam throws laser balls, that velocity takes some time to get used to.

The throw was not terrible, let's not be so dramatic. Could it have been better? Sure.

WR's have to make plays for their QB's sometimes on less than perfectly accurate throws due to various factors, like a defensive lineman being right in the quarterbacks face.

Blaming Newton too much for not throwing 100% accurate passes when his #1 WR is Ted Ginn is a little outrageous.

Few quarterbacks in the NFL right now could lead their squad to 6-0 with this WR group.

Nobody is a bigger Cam supporter here than me, but you guys are making excuses for him. Did you see the rush? He's not perfect! Blah Blah Blah I thought we were holding Cam to a higher standard these days, but I guess not. I guess Luke had nothing to do with the long td run either.
