What do you think of bandwagon fans?

If you've been a fan for a while it can be a bit annoying. Although, as others have said I agree gaining new fans is a good thing.

Since '95 a family member has had a Broncos Jersey, Green Bay and a Patriots Jersey. If he decides to get a Panthers jersey.. I will be annoyed but I'll say welcome aboard.. FINALLY

Some of you guys seem to be trying to prove how long of a fan you are. I'm not talking about someone that's passionate to have found this site and signed up and posted. I'm talking about these Facebook jabronis or your coworkers or your next door neighbor.

all my co workers are Browns fans. They keep telling me to come join the dark side lol

Hell fire bro, I wouldn't be a Browns fan even if I lived in Cleveland and my last name was Brown and I workerd for UPS.  No fugging way.

The bigger the fan base, the more exposure the team gets.  How many national commercials featured players from the Seahawks before Wilson and Sherman were on the team?

Plus, if you're gonna get mad about Carolinians rooting for the cowboys, steelers, etc. because they should be behind the hometown team, it only seems logical you'd be happy to know they've changed their stripes.

Just my 2 cents.

HAVE they switched though? Or will they be right back the first time we lose 2 straight?

It depends for me. I respect loyalty so I hate fans that jump from bandwagon to bandwagon every year. Having said that,  if someone doesn't already have a team, and they jump on the wagon and remain a loyal fan of that team, I can respect that.

Heck I dunno, man.  Honestly I don't think you're a true fan of anyone if you only wear the logos of teams that are winning in the here and now.  But I'm not going to give a Panthers bandwagoner the finger every time I see them either.
