This is a touchy subject. I'm a Steve Smith fan, no doubt, hence "PantherPhann89". He's the best WR in Panthers history but I can't argue with what Gettleman has done since Smith was released. However, I do think that it would've been better served with SS being allowed to stay a Panther. Our WR core with SS would've been awesome. But the bottom line is that he's not here and we're 6-0

As Jase said, it's fitting that he gets to spend his last years on a bad team racking up numbers. He's much older now and would expect the locker room to be the way it was when he left, and that's never going to happen.

Steve Smith makes any roster he's on better. That's the only thing that matters to me, and it should be the only thing that matters to everyone else but obviously there's a lot of very emotional grown men in here with their pretty pink panties in a bunch.

Bro I havent heard anybody thats actually on the team talk down on Smith, in fact just about everyone loves him and respect him so there would be no affect on chemistry. In fact it would motivate the players more knowing that they got a warrior besides them and send him of on a good note.

Bro, you won't hear anyone on the team talk down on Smith.  You should know how all of this works.  There would be a HUGE affect on chemistry.  You think they got rid of him because of his age?

Sometimas couples have bad break ups and they both say things they don't mean. As good as we are he's put us over the top. As sweet as it would be to win a Superbowl, doing it with the franchises best player would be that much sweeter.
