Stephen A. Smith believes we should apologize to Steve Smith

Seriously, why is this a thing?

We are 6-0, going for 7...a franchise record, again. And we are talking about somebody who is trying to maneuver his way off a losing team and onto a winning one. So again....who should apologize?

Because some folks just can't...

I'll kindly say, fug all that bullshit.  No point in fuging with the team chemistry that we have going on right now.  Bringing him back would change it, and you'd be in denial to think otherwise.

He's the best player in franchise history.  I loved watching him play all those years.  He can stay in Baltimore till he retires...

Bro I havent heard anybody thats actually on the team talk down on Smith, in fact just about everyone loves him and respect him so there would be no affect on chemistry. In fact it would motivate the players more knowing that they got a warrior besides them and send him of on a good note.

Which tells me you don't know how this works in the real world.

This isn't Madden. These guys don't disappear when the game ends.  They're real people with real personalities, Sometimes those personalities don't get along with each other, and when the conflict gets big enough it affects how the team performs on game day.

If you wanna say "well, they should just put that aside" then I'm guessing you've never held a real job with co-workers. Go try working effectively on a daily basis with someone you absolutely can't stand to be around and tell me how it goes.

Smart team managers know that when situations like this occur, you generally get better results by removing the guy with the problem. That's what Gettleman did. And if you think Gettleman is the only guy Smitty had conflicts with, you're dreaming.

In the grown up real world, sometimes there are people who don't get along well with much of anybody. When it's a football player, you can either expect everyone else to walk on eggshells around them or you can dump them. Ninety percent of the time, teams choose to dump them, and it's usually the right call.

As it was here...

"the real world" sorry you lost me there. Its a locker room full of millionaires. for sure 100% not equatable to the real world. and as far as the personal nature of ur post i'd say that's as rude as smittys instagram post so go look in the mirror before you judge people

Eh depends, he's a hall of famer either way. We have a better shot at the Super Bowl with him than without him.

I dont get all the hate, its funny how fans are butt hurt about few words, I haven't heard negative things  from the players, infact I remeber J-Stew and other on social media praising him like a big bro. The most stupidest part is that fans would allow their ego to come in the way for getting a talented player thats plays the position your the weakest & would elevate the offense to another level.

Steve would draw double teams and open things up even more Olsen & the rest of the crew?

No the most stupidest [sic] part is thinking any of our opinions have any effect on personnel decisions.

6-0 has them on a high right now, so as long as they can point to that then they don't care about things like logic. They don't care that Steve has as many yards as Ginn, Cotchery, Funchess, and Philly combined. They don't care that we have the 29th ranked passing attack and the 31st ranked completion percentage or the 30th ranked passer rating. They don't even care that we are the only team in the NFL that runs it more than they pass and that Cam leads us in run tds. They'll ignore our weaknesses as long as we keep winning, but as soon as we lose they'll be bitching and blaming Cam. You wait and see.

Maybe if you were a team player you would still be here. But DG got sand in your vag and you had a temper tantrum, but now you see that did no good and now want to come up out of the cellar and watch tv.

Anybody who disrespects Steve Smith I can't take serious as a fan, for years he was the only relevancy on this miserable team.
