I'm just saying you guys treat one of the few players we've ever had worth cheering for like he didn't GIVE HIS ALL EVERY GAME no matter how crappy we were at times.

Honestly if Smith came back I don't see it being a locker room problem. This team knows who's it's leaders are. Thomas Davis, Keuchly, CJ, and Cam would all power bomb Smitty if he got an attitude.

EVERY QB will throw a few passes per games to receivers like him because unlike a Funchess, Ginn, or Brown, but more like KB he would, and those other number 1 quality receivers will either go get it, or it's incomplete more often than not.

WR position has changed.  89 is one of the past still playing that overlapped careers into the headache/diva era.  89 entered in a different game.  Teams catered to TO, Moss, Johnson, 89, etc.  Never hear a peep from AJ, Julio, Megatron, and all the young present day studs

If anyone happened to watch the Raven's game; the Ravens would sit Smith on about half their offensive snaps. If we did happen to get him, we would have to do the same.

you can find exceptions to every rule....can't deny the NFL Diva WR mentality has changed.  Likely has something to do with the passing league and offenses not ideally running through 1-2 players like it did

Steve Smith leaving was a crucial step for the Panthers franchise moving forward.

Look at the type of players and leaders on this team now. There isn't one person on offense that values stats over wins. I don't know I can say the same for Smith.
