Funchess losing snaps weekly

I do like Funchess however he needs to build confidence in what he is doing. I think we all saw how Funch looked after the tip drill. He had a face of pure dejection and frustration. I think he is putting to much pressure on himself to be KB. He needs to play Funch football and add little tricks here and there as he gets more comfortable. I think he is doing some good things in his routes but at the same time he may be trying to do too much or overthinking what he is doing. Right now I agree with everyone that says quick routes are the way to go. Another thing they need to do is pass to him in practice like cam does in game at bullet speed not the softballs that we see in the practice highlights. He also needs to get on that jugs machine crank it up to insane and start catching the fast balls. Though Cam's touch has improved from last season he still throws bullets. We all know Cam has Godzilla for an arm and he needs to start catching those more often in practice so he isn't scrambling in the game. I think a little time with a vet player on the team after practice with Cam and Norman for few weeks will do him some good. However I think at the end of the day Funch has to want it bad enough. From what I saw on Sunday he looks defeated and he has to shake it off.

Funchess also had no preseason due to injury. He needs more time in practice with Cam.

did you really just make a thread about a delta of 3 snaps over a sample of 2 games, try to draw conclusions regarding coaches confidence based on that sample set, and get 5 pages of people over reacting to a sensationalized title? just fugging lol.

We've been playing with more 2 tight end and 2 running back sets lately too. It's hard to put 3 WRs or more on the field when you are in a close game or leading.
