The only ones who thonk Stew will be gone are fans.

He has done nothing to be shown the door.

you mean short-sighted fans, over-reacting knee-jerk spazzes, the ones that can only remember back one week. a couple of us have been saying all along that our offense needs him and people are crazy for suggesting otherwise.

Or maybe its the fans that have seen what happens with management over-pays for talent?  Remember back so long ago...think WAAAAAAAY back, maybe 2-3 years?  Not too short sighted now, is it?  Or maybe you enjoy shopping at the Dollar store for eternity.

My personal opinion is that you have homer glasses hard.

Stewart has a history of injury issues. His body has PLENTY of wear due to those lingering ankle and knee injuries.

28 is old for a RB. This is when they start to decline. Look at the stats of any RB not named Adrian Peterson and you'll see a steady declination in their numbers after they reach the age of 26. 30 is damn near unheard of for a number one running back these days.

I'm glad he's played well for us the past few games but his days as a panther might be numbered if he doesn't take a significant pay cut this offseason. If that contract number goes down, I have no issue keeping him.

frank gore says fug you.

not sure what you are trying to say here, but if you think a Fozzy, CAP and Wegher would be carrying this team you are fuggin nuts.

if you are trying to say we should have gotten rid of him 2 or 3 years ago but he is playing like his is now, then thats dumb as well. he is a great back for this system. of course the genius of Shula could probably tailor his system to fit a different back but thats another conversation.

I knew his contract was going to be near 8-million off our cap. If we cut him, he saves us around 6-million, I think.

if he can keep up this production and last through the season, it's gonna be hard to cut him.

As much as I like J-No and CJ, they are gonna be hard to keep.

of the three, i'm willing to bet johnson is the first to go.

Dang, he is really helping to carry the load!  I don't know if he is pissed because he was not getting any good ink, but he is getting the job done.

I admit I wasn't to sure about keeping him, but that's twice I've been wrong.  But her lawyer helped her!!!

Just hope he stays healthily!
