Blandino on Ginn interception

it was without a doubt a catch in my opinion.  he was not stripped until after is leg knee and ass were on the ground.  horrible call. but we still won bitches

the catch rule has been explained a million times since megatron in chicago a few years back.  the call was consistent with how theyve been ruling it imo.

Honestly I do not care if the call was correct or not, but if that was an interception, the rule is flawed. He caught the ball, and a defender forced him to the ground...and Ginn's hip/butt hit the ground before that ball was moving. He should have been down then. If he was not considered "down by contact" then the rule is poo.

I try to look at rules like this: If we were playing the Falcons, and Julio Jones was in Ginn's place and Norman got the interception, I would still think the rule was bull$hit, and I would think that Jones got ripped off.

I hate the Falcons and their crappy city more than any team in the league...so keep that ish in mind.

its the same rule for everyone at least.  it doesn't bother me as much personally, but I do understand people taking issue.  end of the day it was a good defensive play.  Ginn could sure up his ball handling and its a non issue.

He said a catch is only a catch if you keep control through contact on the way to the ground, unless your last name is Tate and it's in the endzone to get a winless hapless Lions team a win. Only that is an exception though.

The NFL is in love with points.  Kelly is the new hope for them.  They want arena league scores. 

Ginn had the ball against his chest with the defender tugging on the ball.  Ginn's back hit the ground with the ball on his chest.  PLAY FUGGING OVER.  PERIOD.  It was a  terrible call.  TERRIBLE.

I saw a replay that they only showed once where it looked like Ginn landed on top of the defender's arm and not the ground.

I've gotten to where I just don't give a poo to hear Blandino's explanations because they're not explanations, they're long hand for CYA.  That call, much like so many of the other calls in that game were bullshit, and that's all he had to say.

Ginn caught it, pulled it into his body, secured it to his torso, took 4 steps, was then tackled, the ball slid down to his hip in the process and his butt hit the ground with the ball still in his possession.   That's a catch and a tackle.

How the fug you call that a INT is just crazy. The NFL need to define a catch, define clearly what is a PF on a QB after he is out of the pocket, and also call holding way more than there doing.

I walk into bar right as this happened and tv had no sound.  Honestly thought they were reviewing to see if it was a fumble. Never crossed my mind that it was an interception.

I am watching the game again on AFN (in Iraq) this play is on now.  Ginn carry's the DB and hits the ground.  He is in control when he hits the ground.  It is such B.S. and You will never convince me otherwise.

I don't see the peanut comparisons, the guy didnt catch it cleanly and it ended up in Peanut hands once the receiver hit the ground. Ginn clearly had the possession and Carroll forcibly pulled it out of Ginn hands, that is a damn fumble.
