Let's look at the remaining schedule and forecast how we finish

Sweep the Falcons but lose to the Cowboys......dafuq?

The Cowboys ALWAYS beat us, and it's away. I've watched Atlanta's last few games, and they are complete garbage. Cowboys will have a lot of pieces back by the time we play.

I also think that Washington could keep it closer than most of us think.

What are your thoughts on the remaining schedule?

Here is my prediction:

11/2 Colts   W

11/8 Packers  L

11/15 @Titans  W

11/22 Redskins  W

11/26 Cowboys L

12/6 @Saints  W

12/13 Falcons  W

12/20 @Giants  W

12/27 @Falcons  W

1/3 Bucs  L

13-3, losses to Packers, Cowboys, and Bucs (we are resting starters...even though DerekA owns the Bucs)

what say you...

Fun fact: With little exception (those being Arizona and Detroit instead of Seattle and Green Bay), we're playing the exact same schedule as our Superb Owl season. AFC South and NFC East. Can we just do this every year?

So just to be clear, you don't have actual reasons why the Cowboys will beat us, just the mighty element of Hand-Waveium?

i'm sticking to my prediction of the panthers going 8-0 for the first half of the season...yes that means they beat the packers and as a result half the planet's populations' head explodes like a jet.com commercial.

there will not be a bigger stain to this season if the panthers lose the cowboys.

and if the panthers go 15-0, they will not sit their starters and pass up a chance at 16-0.

therefore, i predict 16-0.

I didn't say they would beat us, I said that they always do unless it's a playoff game. I'm not sure what "Hand-Waveium" is, just stating the facts. We are 3-9 against them, they've won the last 5, and 2 of our wins were in the playoffs.

we beat colts and packers we go 16-0

Wanna hear something crazy?  I think someone will do it this year.  This is the least parity I've seen in the NFL in quite some time.  The good teams are REALLY good and the bad teams are Really bad.  The Packers have a few tough games (us, the Broncos, and the Cardinals) but it's not implausible that they could run the Table.  Us?  Look at our Schedule (Best time ever to be paired with the AFC south and NFC East), only truly difficult task is the Packers and a (I believe) over rated Falcons team 2x.  The Bengals have the Cardinals and Broncos and the rest of their schedule is easy.  The Patriots have actually done it before and the only challenges they have are the Broncos and at the Jets.  Point is, the NFL is very top heavy, and the rest is very mediocre to bad leaving this season as the best possible time since the Pats did it for something like that to happen.

that's like saying because of the panthers' pathetic record after coming off a bye and heartbreaking series record against the seahawks that there's no way in hell the panthers would ever beat the seahawks after coming off a bye.

oh...wait.
