Davis has been in seek and destroy mode up to the 5th gear going back a while now. This is the team he's been waiting for all these years to try and make a run. When he got here he was surrounded by a lot of guys who made a failed Super Bowl run a few years ago and accepted mediocrity. That was 10 years ago.

 

He is the heart and soul of the team. He is everything people like to think Steve Smith was for the Panthers. He wouldn't be playing as hard on any other team if he were playing at all. I'm glad to have him here.

IIRC, he has already stated that he would never play for another team, that if he were to be cut for any reason, he would retire.  And this was BEFORE he signed his latest extension.  The team looked after him when he was going thru the knee issues and kept him on the team so he is doing the same for the team. He is the epitome of the team player, the ultimate teammate.

Most underrated player in the history of football and it's honestly not even remotely close. I mean, how is it fuging possible that this guy isnt even a ONE TIME PRO BOWLER!?!?

Honestly, being that we are 6-0 and getting more attention, this could be the season that changes, but.. let's hope he doesn't get to play in it...
