safe to say he's prob defensive player of the week...that's two weeks in a row. yes? a good game on monday night and he's prob defensive player of the month...just like norman the month before.

So back to back defensive player of the month...potentially. That sounds like elite defense to me

Did Short get the credit for what would have been Allen's first sack because he knocked the ball out of Bradford's hand before he went down?

Because ESPN's boxscore has 3 sacks for Short and 1 for Allen, shouldn't they at least each get .5?

Yes, I think Short got the credit, and Ron said the Panthers sent that to NFL saying it should be Allen who got the sack.  Said they did it because they're mindful Allen is on the top 10 leaderboard in terms of all time sacks (he's 9th), so it's important to them that he gets credit.

We have a young franchise quarterback. a young franchise linebacker. two of the most important positions in football. and you build around them. that's a recipe for long term success. not many teams can say that. in addition to that, we have top 10 guys in alot of other positions like CB, DT, OLD, C. alot of fans and people who doubt us seem to forget that.

    • Film Room Playlist _ NFL Pro — Mozilla Firefox 2024-11-25 10-20-11.mp4 🎯🎯🎯 There were a couple of "fans" yesterday saying that this wasn't a helmet-to-helmet shot... 👀 Looks like based on where Moore was and where the play ended, he'd have gotten maybe just a yard or two more. Chuba was downed at the KC 16 and Moore was on his way back to the QB, so the offense got what they could for the most part. After reviewing the all-22, Bryce made the right call here. Tremble was the hot and KC sent both LBs. He gets it out with a clear pocket but it's quickly collapsing. If there was a little more time it looked like AT came free at the end but whether or not Bryce would've been upright still is another story. Smart move to get the completion and keep the field goal in play to stay alive. George Karlaftis is about to get himself a big ole hug and Bryce heaves it to where David Moore is going. Trent McDuffie slipped just a step or two before this shot, but we can see the clear DPI here as he's wrapped around David Moore before knocking him over as the ball gets there.
    • I’m taking a TE early day 3 Ian Thomas and Tremble are FA.  We should have no desire to bring them back.   There’s more than enough film of ball bouncing off their hands or facemask.
    • Daniel Jones sometimes would sling it for 300 or 400 yards.  That's my stance.  We know what Bryce is.  If you consistently play any QB at this level, they largely are going to end up w/ some good days/games.  last time Mahomes was at BOA, Teddy Bridgwater threw for 300+ yards and a couple TDs and the Matt Rhule Panthers almost took him down.  We know what Bryce is.  Now we got people predictably falling into a predictable trap.
