Between this and the Smitty threads, I don't understand the fascination with the 2013 Panthers.

It was a fun season and all but come on...

I understand the sentiment but this is the guy we developed and 2013 doesn't happen without GH. 

Certainly, Luke would be without a DPOY without Hardy's presence.

If you wanted Greg Hardy the person, and all the baggage in a potentially massive contract back?  I doubt you'd find many intelligent people to agree with you.  Loved watching him play, but not trying to tie up any big money in an alleged domestic abuser, Instagram speedometer picture taking, side-gig rapper, 9/11 joker, absolute immature idiot...because that's kinda what he is.  Helluva football player...world class idiot. 

 

Smitty is always the comparison...but he was just an angry dude, and potential locker room issue, who too, was eventually dealt with.  He wasn't out breaking the law, being an oversized 16 year old, and making music videos about boats and hoes or whatever Hardy's song was about.

I couldn't agree more.  He may or may not have been guilty of the charges leveled, and frankly, I don't care.  Moreso than the charge though was he didn't think that that derp assed music video would look horrible on a guy coming back from a Domestic Abuse charge.  He is super talented, but you never know when he's gonna do something moronic and be suspended indefinitely again.  Gimme the Fresh Prince and let's develop a new pass rushing monster.
