That ref pissed me the fug off.   fuging idiot.   He completely ruined the momentum.   We were well on our way to a blowout in the first quarter and this fuging idiot's dog ate his rule book.

Ginn took four steps, was tackled, his butt hit the ground, then the ball came out.   How the fug is that an INT you fuging retard?

I know! The commentator agreed because he didn't maintain control through the tackle so it would never have been a complete pass... He is dumb, when you take 4 steps with the ball firmly in your hands its a catch, and when your butt hits the ground you're down.

the refs saw it as ginn not maintaining full possession of the ball throughout the catch b/c he was going to the ground.

and b/c the ball popped out and never touched the ground, it's an INT.

not sure what's so confusing.

there is a rule that says.... make moves -> become runner..... he made three freaking steps!  I don't care what the ref saw it as... he was really, really, wrong!!!!!!!

    • This is an important point.  When you let the offense choose the matchup so easily you are only hurting yourself.  At least make them work to get the matchup they want.
    • This is incredibly dishonest, and you know it. We didn't cherry-pick a "small amount of deep throws late in the year." We reviewed every one of Bryce's deep throws using the NFL's own film and data via NFL Pro. The analysis was thorough, transparent, and contextualized with game film. Dismissing that as cherry-picking is not only incredibly disingenuous, it is textbook gaslighting as well. Let's walk through the actual data: Top-10 in deep ball accuracy Top-5 in short-range accuracy Bottom-10 in intermediate accuracy (not ideal, but not "league worst" either) If you're going to lean on the "no pressure" qualifier again, his deep passing under pressure was covered. So no... it wasn't cherry-picked. Look, you don't have to believe in Bryce. That's your right... but misrepresenting clear, consistent evidence crosses the line from skepticism into willful intellectual dishonesty.
    • big picture though, that largely sounds like a horrible idea to go about things.  Not saying I think they did that.  Think the illusion of that is largely just PRish of presenting a image of things working out well.  But yeah, you don't want your WR influencing who you draft at TE.  Players are going to be bringing crazy bias into the equation and a 23 year old struggling QB shouldn't be making your top 10 pick.
