It's weird that Boston uses it in the first place. Neil Diamond is from Brooklyn and the song has 0 connection to Boston as far as I know.

I've just looked it up. The Boston tradition was started by a woman named Amy Tobey.

In other words they just did it because other people already did it. Has nothing to do with Boston. The Panthers have as much right to it as they do.

Sadly, this can never work. There are still members of this fan base who refer to Kelvin Benjamin as "Calvin". No chance we can get this right.

I remember singing the fight song as a 10 year old down during our first few games at Clemson! I'd love to sing it again one day in BoA, I support this petition.

Trying to add a 50s era "fight song" to a franchise that began in the 90s is pretty lame. Chants are fine, but we need to let the fight song idea go.

Really though who wants to hear 70,000 people sing corny ass lyrics? Keep pounding is actually the teams motto, so it makes sense.

That stand and cheer song reminds me of the painful days of 99 - 01 when we were getting murdered on a weekly basis.  Let's not bring that back. 

Stand and Cheer was awesome echoing out of Clemson during Season 1.  

Just sayin', I'm 104% behind bringing the whole song back (even the lost verse that nobody but me, it seems, remembers)
