Listen, we already have a dang fight song.  Are you people new?!?  Have you no respect for Lord Master Zod?

Crackerjack, Honey Dew

Boom - chicka - Pow!

Tick Tack, Quarterback

Cats say Meow! (put your hands in a claw like fashion above your head)

I will say...Sweet Caroline?.  Can't get behind that.  I know we do it but

That is Boston's.  Every time we do it....I can't help feel lame ripping off a trademark of another team.

It's weird that Boston uses it in the first place. Neil Diamond is from Brooklyn and the song has 0 connection to Boston as far as I know.

I've just looked it up. The Boston tradition was started by a woman named Amy Tobey.

Tobey began working for the Red Sox through her job at BCN Productions, a film and video communications company, having interned for the Boston Bruins.

Her assignment was to decide what music would be played at the park from 1998 to 2004.

She had noticed ''Sweet Caroline" was used at other sporting events, and she decided to send the sweetness over the Fenway speakers.

In other words they just did it because other people already did it. Has nothing to do with Boston. The Panthers have as much right to it as they do.

from what I read, some chick that use to work their in charge of playing music simply liked the song and kept playing it.  People I guess randomly got use to the song always coming on and it snowballed.

like many traditions, they aren't planned....they just naturally occur.   Great example.

I kinda like the version created by the Mile High Cats. What's the full lyrics to it RoaringRiot? With the Keep Pounding chant, Sweet Caroline, and the Mile High version that's all we need!

Stand up and cheer for the Panthers

Stand up and cheer for the black and blue

The pride of both Carolinas

A team for me and you

Go Big Cats!

short - sweet - fun

Agreed. Sweet Caroline....Sweet Carolina. Sounds a hell of alot more about Carolina than Boston. Sounds like Al davis when he wanted to sue the Panthers for using silver and black becaused he "owned " the colors.
