yeah i only noticed the first sack. i like oher here. it'll be interesting to see the future of the o-line. does DWill take over on the right and what happens with Remmers? i'd feel bad to sit him as a back up, even though he'd be a great swing tackle.

also, we have oher for a 2 year deal. if he continues to do well for us do we extend it a couple more? then use the draft to find the long term replacement? I'm guessing Dwill will be the RT at some point maybe not this season because the injury probably has set him back. i wouldn't feel bad about this line. maybe remmers moves to C in a few seasons if Kalil leaves.

So right at the end when Remmers hands are wrapped all the way around Bennett, his hands are literally on the numbers on the back of his jersey...that's not holding?  Thought you were supposed to keep your hands in front or it's holding.  Not trying to hate, Remmers has been a massive upgrade over Nate Chandler, but trying to be as unbiased as possible he was holding a bit.

I think by the letter of the law, yes, that is holding.  However, holding pretty much only gets called on O-Linemen when they get beat and are holding to impede their opponent's progress towards the ball-carrier.  Remmers was still directly engaged with his man though, so I'd say that's the kind of holding that only gets called when the refs are trying to intentionally influence the game.

I did not follow him but if he really said that then he must be the stupiest player in the NFL. Why would you ruin your market value by saying you want to play for a specific team in advance? Geezzz... But hey, nothing surprises me these days with the behavior/comments of some of those players.

yeah it's pretty stupid

He is BY FAR a better option than Bell.

Even the best LTs have guys like Irvin fly by them...

Joe Staley, who I woild kill to have as a LT..was whiffing badly so lets not expect perfection as a minimum expectation.

I love Cordy Glenn and I think Oher is at least his equal if not better.

Watching the last few 1st round cant miss LTs makes me appreciate the 2015 Oher..

...The Jake Matthews, Eric Fisher, DJ Humphreys and TJ Clemmings whats-his-face from Pitt others look closer to vet min contracts when their rookie contracts are finished than pro-bowlers.

Both of our tackles struggled in pass protection against Seattle, though, isn't that to be expected against the best defensive end duo in the nfl? They dd about 100 times better than a Bell/Chandler combo would have done.

They did well enough to let us send Olsen out for about 130- yards of receptions and a td.
