Shout-out to Michael Oher

He is good at pass blocking.. He just doesn't move people in the run game.  Turner and Norwell move people.  That Kalil Norwell double team where Oher kicks outside, Turner pulls is a thing of beauty.  It took Oher some plays to get used to the speed of those ends. However into the game he was doing fine, that why Seattle started stunting so much because they weren't getting pressure any other way. Not having Bobby Wagner was a big plus as well, but the way J Stew was picking up blocks in the middle I don't think it would have mattered except maybe he would have been closer on the wheel route of Olsen.

Oher gave up one ugly sack but otherwise he was solid in pass protection.  He hasn't been that good at run blocking though, which is why most of the damage we did in the running game went to the right side.

He is bad in anything where he has to move someone.  He can hold his ground with the best of them, so run plays where he is holding edge or kicking out he is fine.  Any run play where he has to drive or seal inside with push he is bad.

Any run where we pull either of the guards usually are our best runs.  We should do that a lot more.  On a few goal line plays Oher was actually moved to the right side.

Really? I thought he did better than Remmers.

He did, and whoever said his run blocking was bad... is blind.  That was probably his best day for run blocking since he's been here.  He and Norwell were murdering on that side.  It's unfortunate we didn't run that way more.

That's good blocking, not a hold.  If that was holding, it'd be impossible to protect a QB in the NFL.

So right at the end when Remmers hands are wrapped all the way around Bennett, his hands are literally on the numbers on the back of his jersey...that's not holding?  Thought you were supposed to keep your hands in front or it's holding.  Not trying to hate, Remmers has been a massive upgrade over Nate Chandler, but trying to be as unbiased as possible he was holding a bit.

On that sack he gave up, to me it looked like he got bull rushed and was pushed back into Norwell's leg, so he never could plant and recover. Like others have said, it happened once, against a great pass rush, and then never again the rest of the game. He's done very well so far this year.

No way that was holding. But I do agree that Remmers struggled more IMO than Oher in this past game. After the first sack Oher gave up he adjusted pretty well to the speed rush. Remmers struggles against the bullrush I think

and he already said he's going to Atlanta next year

I did not follow him but if he really said that then he must be the stupiest player in the NFL. Why would you ruin your market value by saying you want to play for a specific team in advance? Geezzz... But hey, nothing surprises me these days with the behavior/comments of some of those players.
