Eagles game plan: Hit Newton repeatedly

This is not Cam Newton playing through a bum ankle and cracked ribs who was less mobile and ran only 2 times for 6 yards on the Eagles. This is not the OL that was a sieve and allowed defenders a shot on Cam consistently.

Rude awakening incoming for the Eagles.

Meanwhile Bradford still is made of glass and has a noodle arm.

I think the Eagles are saying this because they want us to put Bradford out.  It would be doing them a favor.

I think alot of you are overestimating our O-Line. Sure,it's MUCH improved over last year, but we arent exactly dominating the line (if we were, our QB wouldn't be our leading rusher in terms of attemtps and YPC). As a team that relies heavily on the run, we arent exactly getting it done. Maybe that is on Stew, maybe that is on the O-Line,and maybe that is on the play calling.

As much as I hate the Eagles, they are not as bad as their record or last game suggests. I do believe we can and will win this game, but the idea that we are going to get numerous turnovers because of what the Eagles did last week is a bit premature. Alot of you are basically doing to them what so many others have been doing to us (which fires our team up)

The fans are scum, but as a team they are all decent guys and are going to come in HUNGRY. That division is up in the air and this game is far more important to them and implications for the rest and future of the season) than it is to us. We are playing for another win....they are playing for likely the rest of their season!

 

I'll send 100 bucks via western union to any huddler/riot member that posts a video of punching an eagles fan in the damn mouth. With that said though....lets not get too ahead of ourselves. Our O-line isnt that great...and while we did prove some things to ourselves last week in Seattle, lets keep it real and acknowledge we barely won that game (played well, but needed a last minute breakdown in coverage to seal it up)

 

Temper the confidence guys..it wont be any easy game.

Kelly sees the perception that statement created and likely realizes it could make the refs wary.

Mind you though, this is a public statement. What's said behind closed doors could be different.
