Eagles fan assaults Giants fan after game. Shocking.

Anyone remember Brian Stow? SF Giants fan that got beaten into a Coma by Dodger fans?

My point is all logic and reason goes out the window in these situations. You don't know whether you are dealing with some drunk blowing off steam or a straight psychopath. Some of us have a lot to lose

I don't want to say the guy deserved it, but he probably deserved it.

This comment had me rolling

"it would be a smart move on the person who punched to come in and tell his side

Yeah, but then he’d have to admit to being an Eagles fan."

If you think this is limited to Philly fans then you are a moron.  I watched one of our lovely Panthers fans blind side sucker punch an elderly Miami Dolphin fan right outside BofA Stadium probably 10 or 15 years ago and then take off running thru the crowd.... Old man was laid out cold....  I could probably make a list of times some drunk or dumbass Panther fan started something with another teams dumbass fan...

That being said !!  Kick Phily's ass !!

After watching the longer version of the video, this guy had it coming. He was on the offensive, looking for a fight. His girlfriend/wife tried to separate him from the guys he was harassing, but he ran around her and went back over there. He just happened upon someone who was probably as drunk as he was.

Ok I have to admit, the snowball thing cracked me up and you know you wouldn't mind doing that to some Falcons fans that show up to  BofA lol.

They paid to get in the game, it was an older couple, and almost everyone in the section was taunting them and assualting them (getting hit by cold snowballs doesn't feel good after awhile). I hope our fans aren't that big of shitheads

I am kinda glad one guy getting punched stirs up controversy. Being from europe and living close to a city with a team in the Swedish premier League I am used to the city being in a state of open war on game day. If the only thing that happens is one guy getting punched then it is a really good day. We're happy if noone dies (someone was beaten to death here before a game a few years ago). City gets destroyed, trains and bars torn apart, residents assaulted by traveling fans. Add to this the constants trouble with bengal fires at games and you have a recipe for repeated disaster.

You have a much healthier supporter Culture over there even if european hooligans would not agree.

I'll try to round up some pics of my city on gameday...

Sympathy for that fool. You a grown man, know your environment and control your alcohol. Dudes get pumped of that liquor courage and a lot of the time have it coming. I go to at least 4 home games a year and to ATL every year. Never seen a fight. You know what bc people talk trash but don't get disrespectful  or just plain stupid.

again...there's a big difference between talking smack, and assulting someone. just because you don't like how someone is acting, you don't have the right to attack them. he wasn't hurting anyone.

also, someone had their phone out and was filming, so it's likely this was premeditated.

nope that ain't how the real world work. Watch your mouth and you good.

    • 38 seconds in tells me he is full of poo and is spinning for clicks. You know how they say in court, where if they lie once you can assume they are lying always?  To me Riddick is doing a pretty spiteful thing I think, by putting those words in someone's mouth. Unless he knows that is true. Which I doubt. An honest person would not have said that to Tepper, so he basically assaulting Canales. It is not Canales' fault that Young will not adhere to the the coaching he was obviously given. And of course I am referring to that Buffalo series and the very noticeable footwork change. Evidence that he had the opportunity to be a better player but reverted to his wonky ass 'techniques'. Because it is fuging hard not to. But that is still on Young for not getting that done. And unless he gets it done he is just a fraud. A wannabe NFL quarterback, playing at it. I mean NFL quarterbacks are kicking his ass, even the rookies.  If he works to change this steadily he may be able to get it ingrained in a couple more months. That is as optimistic as I can be for him.  Riddick though, I don't don't listen to sports talk any more except what youtube clips I like but I used to think pretty highly of him. This is pretty sad, to see this scapegoating.  I can put words into Canales mouth too: "Mr Tepper, I have a pretty good feel for working with these guys, and have had some luck with it. You know Baker pretty well. That's my work with him.  But I have to be honest, I'm not sure i can promise I can fix Bryce. He has many challenges. There are things we can do to help but so much of it is up to him. If he is willing to listen and work, I am sure we can make him a better QB. How good will be up to him."   blah blah blah blah
    • Can they play QB? And some stuff from Ride the Lightning, too?
    • When dementia gripped my grandmother (and eventually took her), we each spent time with her and would try to correct her to what was reality and what wasn't. It was very tough on my Dad who she lived with for as long as they could care for her.  It seemed like she had become detached from her own timeline and would slide up and down it wildly. As my Dad said, "somedays I'm me to her, somedays I'm my Dad, somedays I'm her father, somedays I'm just the guy who works here. I tried correcting her but it just upset her. I found out that the best thing is to just not correct her and let her live out where ever and whenever she is."  And I'm not going to lie, it gets tough and eventually they leave their own timeline and it becomes unmanageable. Hold on to yourself and the ones you love through it all. Prayers for you and yours, man.
