Gil is a fantastic football mind. And Shula is actually doing a better job this season.

Also worth remembering that head coaching is a different skill set than being a coordinator.

Shula having the worst offensive line in football..... He needs to find a way. <insert name> would have us looking like the Patriots.

Shula having a better offensive line...... Cam is the best.  Shula is at least not messing things up.

We are averaging 27 points per game with Ten Ginn Jr. (considered a 1st round bust everywhere but Carolina), Brentin Bursin leading us in receiving yards for a game  and the worst run blocking tackle in the NFL.  Injured Steve Smith would still be the best WR on our roster right now.  A game philosophy dictated by a defensive head coach.  A QB who as great as he is goes through stretches where he is inaccurate for periods. 

Sooner or later everyone will come to the same conclusion.  We play as well as our Oline does.  When the Oline plays well the team plays well offensively.  Shula has been paddling a boat made out of duct tape.

Its an excuse for simple minds. Nobody thinks he's an exceptional coordinator but the things people do to discredit him are obvious and comical after awhile.

Hes a decent coordinator whos approach is effective when players and position groups can execute. Just like any other coordinator.

while I don't think Shula would be a very good head coach, he is perfect for what this team is trying to do at his current role. but i'll go ahead and dip out of here so all the spaz nuts can go back to having their ignorant fun.

Brandt is a far smarter football mind than 99% of this board, this is not as ridiculous as people are making out.

Its really all about who would be there in his place... How can you guarantee it without knowing who would be there?

Unless you think he is the best OC in the NFL.....
