He was living in Tampa and forced to cover the entire South with ESPN pushing their narrative. I cut him some slack for those years. 

He got lazy when it came to covering anybody but the Bucs.

Prime example was when he told somebody that Gettleman had never been a college scout.

Maybe working for ESPN dilutes the quality of your work.
