I share the same feeling about Godfrey making up being in a bad position, by being a great athlete. Plus didn't agree when he was top five 5 money.

That said, it was still foolish to put him at Nickle coming off ACH injury AND keep him there for 6+ games. Tape didn't lie and all QBs viewed him as the weak link after it plain as day he couldn't cover form that spot.

Godfrey was not the same after the Achilles injury and he wasn't great before that. I'll pass.

the team improved as soon as he went down that season as well. 

Godfrey offered vey little..missed tackles...blowing cvgs..

Othr than picking off Brees in the end zone one season thats about it..for memorable plays from CG...positive ays that is
