NFLN replaying us @ Seattle tonight

scary how we almost got beat deep on the 2nd to last play. no way you should get beat that deep when playing coverage in that situation. poo give them them a 20 yard cushion if you have to, but dont get beat over the top at that part in the game. could have been a haruki nakamura type situation there if the throw had been on target.

Did anybody hear Olsen say that was the fastest they have ever gotten a play off?

He said they broke the huddle with 7 seconds on the play clock.

Yup IMO we broke the huddle late so Seattle wouldn't have much time to recognize the formation and adjust, since we had run the same play to Olsen on the previous TD drive which he caught and ran down to the 1 yard line.

I remember thinking Colman really covered that TD well. It was a good pass and catch.

That's cool of him but it bothers me we couldn't just let him tag along for the trip.  =( Is that a Panthers thing or an NFL thing for guys on temp IR?

Talking about CJ flying out there on his own dime?

Not sure if it's a thing either way, but to the best of my knowledge he didn't travel to Tampa and that ain't cross-country. Either the hamstring's feeling better or he's feeling challenged by Jared Allen to be the leader of the D-Line.

Funch's tip drill on the pass he should have caught was inches from being picked off.  That could have been the difference in the game, he's got to make those catches.

That was probably the best route he has run all season too. I'm sure he will be more and more productive as he gains more and more confidence though. Funchess makes that same catch next time, I'm guessing.

Nope.  Shula and Cam both said the play came in late and they had to rush just to get it off.  The crowd also caused it to take longer for Cam to relay it.  Luckily they avoided a penalty but it did have the unintended consequence of Seattle not having time to adjust.  There's really no excuse to almost get a delay of game after a spike.

Wonder what Olsen was pointing at after Cam spiked it?

He was pointing at the defensive lineman standing on the field next to the sidelines.  It should of been 5 yards for the Panthers but I think the intensity of the moment caught the officials off-guard and they totally weren't paying attention.  The Seahawks wanted to substitute but they changed their minds too late but somehow nobody but Olsen even saw it.
