Those what ifs still run through my head but I am grateful that we have quality depth to step up when it is needed.

So do we lock up Short this offseason or nah?

I think we will. My prediction JNo gets tagged, extend Short and pick up Stahs fifth year option.

Here are the PFF rankings and grades for our entire roster from both week 4 and week 6 - sorted in order of week 6 overall grade, highest to lowest.

Biggest improvement in overall grade:  Bene, J. Stewart, Luke, Wes Horton, Ryan Kalil.

Biggest drop in overall grade:  Remmers, Harper, Delaire, Dickson, Star

That was the best game I think I've seen Kalil play. In fact, in my mind he's having his best ever year as a Panther. Might have something to do with playing a full season between two bad mofos.

On a side note....that cheap shot Chancellor laid on Kalil really pissed me off.

Looking at the PFF article for best players at every position as of week 6, Panthers have 4 players on the list

Luke, KK, Ryan Kalil and Norwell.

Yea, I was legit scared when I saw him moving around in pain. Looked like he got wind knocked out of him. 

I wasn't too fond of Seattle and my feelings got a little worse towards them after Sunday

KK gets a big deal next year, as does Star--lock em up.  I imagine Love will be signed on the cheap--We will probably have to draft another 3 tech.

What makes this interesting is the Charles Johnson deal. If Ealy continues to improve, and Delaire continues to shine, Do we let the 30-year old DE walk and draft a DE?  I think I might put my money in my DTs and let Johnson walk.  There are a few DEs in the draft who look solid.  I am pretty sure that Allen will be gone, but is Horton, Addison, Delaire, Ealy, and a draft pick enough?
