Sleepless in Seattle -POLL

Reasons we should have lost:

Special teams woes

Defensive line injuries. (Charles Johnson/ Jared Allen Out) We started a guy (Wes Horton) who got cut last week. 

Receivers- Ted Ginn caught one ball, Devin Funchess dropping (3?), No Kelvin Benjamin

Cam's early struggles- 2 INTs, getting Sacked, QBR of less than 10% in the first half. 

Penalties were killing us!!

Seemed we weren't getting any calls from the refs. 

Someone pulled the firealarm in the hotel... 

Coming off of the bye playing a very motivated Seattle Seahawk we historically lose to.

Down two scores in Seattle in the 3rd Quarter. 

Seattle plays well at home. 

The 12th man... actually sounded like the 12th man this game. 

When you look at this... We had EVERY reason to lose this game.

 

 

 

 

 

But we Kept Pounding.... 

I'm trying not to a prisoner of the moment. We know there's alot of work to do. We know it's not over. We know its a long season. Everyone is going to give us their best shot. But my GOD, this win feels better today than it did yesterday. 

For the huddle... Given all the things we had working against us yesterday, Is this the greatest come from behind (Regular Season) victory in the Rivera/Cam/Kuechly era? (All time?)

I wouldn't say that "penalties were killing us or that we "weren't getting any calls." I thought this was the best officiated game to this point this season. It was obvious that neither team was gonna get pushed around and both teams were VERY physical and the officials let them play, which was a breath of fresh air.

I picked the Seattle game simply for the reason that they were in our heads from all the previous games, we were on the road in a hostile environment (the others were home games), and we are the ones who beat that team in their unbeatable venue. 

The common denominator in all the games?  When it was crunch time with the game on the line, Cam was clutch, calm, and poised.

Seattle definitely although Patriots and Saints are tied for second. I say Seattle because we finally got the monkey off our back. 

which monkey is this again? because carolina has beaten Seattle twice before.

This Seattle win reminded me a lot of the game where Jake hit Rosario Dawson for a TD as time ran out, to beat San Diego.

To me this would make an even greater case for the Seattle game... 

The fact they had to win a come from behind game IN Seattle. But thats what makes this poll so hard on true fans.

All equal to me. All are quintessential franchise defining wins. 

 

All wins in which Cam drove us down the field last second, clutch, in big time games against big time opponents.

This Seattle win reminded me a lot of the game where Jake hit Rosario Dawson for a TD as time ran out, to beat San Diego.

yea. That game made many of us think/hope that Dawson was going to be the next Antonio Gates.

i think i went the nuttiest during the patriots game. i nearly blacked out.

i think the seahawks game meant the most because they've always been the monkey on our back, the team that kept us from considering ourselves elite.

the saints probably felt the best as a fan because fug the saints. my buddy and i chugged tequila and we stripped and ran up and down my street in the pouring rain swinging our shirts and yelling fug the saints. what a day
