Or you could use/get a DVR, do something useful for a hour and then FF through every commercial, improving both the useful thing you did and your mental state.  :)

I completely understand if you can't pull this move off for the Panthers, but other games shouldn't be too difficult.

Watching sports isn't the same when you DVR it, it's just not. For one, following on Twitter is fun sometimes, too. And it's hard to do that when you aren't watching live

I've won every week on fan duel. Am I a millionaire......No,  but it is fun. I have withdrawn my original deposit amount and I'm playing with house money right now.

I won 400 last year in a $1 game.  Put in $20 bucks.  Cashed out w/ $400.

This year I still am operating without a loss.  Depends on what you play.  I think if you stay away from big tournaments it can be easy to play for an extended period on what you put in.   I think the big tournaments is where the shady stuff can happen and just the "whales" flooding the pools with their bets.

Your best chance at winning on Draftkings or Fanduel is to play single entry tournaments or tournaments where you only have two games to choose players from.  Also, most people might choose players that cost a lot of money on the cap end, thinking they will perform.  Yet for the best chance of winning big, it's better to choose players most people will not pick.  Obviously if that player does well, you will be one of the lucky few who benefits from the points.

Those commercials weren't bought by the money made off of winners.

No, they were paid for by company's like TWC, MLB, NHL, most NFL teams, Foxsports, 21st Century Fox, etc who gave Draft Kings and Fan Duel about $1B for the sole purpose to flood the market with advertising. It's all worked rather well.

I've never dug deep into the legalities of it but it was a bit surprising to me that organizations like MLB and NHL jumped in bed with them given the close relationship of Fanduel / Draft Kings and gambling. I think the NFL didn't go all in yet, but most individual NFL teams have. I've been meaning to read up more on it because find it interesting.
